Multimedia Art Club: Opening New Creative Doors

EHS’s MultiMedia is an inclusive club for students with any artistic medium.  MultiMedia art club is an outlet for all students to create while being surrounded by others who like to do the same.  While allowing students to create freely, group projects are included from time to time.

Whether it’s a children’s book or planning floats for homecoming, there’s always something to do here. The two wonderful teachers in the art club, Ms.Riner and Ms.Hamilton, are constantly finding ways to include everyone and every medium with fun projects.

“It’s a really good club that allows us to let out our creativity,” says Maddie Allen, a sophomore and returning member to EHS’s Multimedia Art Club.  Maddie loves to create and to be around people who do the same.  Maddie is happy to “expand new horizons” with the new acceptance of non-traditional art mediums.

The art club advisors are the glue that holds this club together.  They’re constantly coming up with new project ideas and ways to get everyone involved in a fun way and there’s never a dry moment while in there.

“I’m so excited for art club this year,” says co-art club teacher, Ms.Riner. “We’ve changed it to a Multi- Media cub which is now incorporating all 2D works of art.” Ms Riner and Ms. Hamilton keep a close family dynamic with all the members of the club and will brag about their ‘art club kids’ any opportunity they get. “All of the students who are in art club this year are incredibly talented and I’m so excited to see what they create.”

All in all, this club is always looking for more members, and is a fantastic community that would love to have you.
