Kendall Ungerman, Editor-in-Chief

Kendall Ungerman, senior, became a staff member of the Eagle Quill her sophomore year and has since then worked her way to the editor-in-chief position alongside Phoenix Bruner. While her passion in journalism lies in writing, she also has experience in designing for print. Although she doesn’t plan on pursuing journalism as a career, she believes it has done wonders for her in terms of coming out of her shell and becoming more involved in the school.

Junior Aubrey Berger has been a part of the Robotics program since her freshman year. Her freshman science teacher pushed people, especially girls, to join. Although her schedule is packed with testing, taking AP classes, and the Sci-Tech program, she still finds time for Robotics. One thing Berger seeks to do while in the program is take away the idea people have that Robotics is a solely for males. “Nowadays, there is nothing stopping females,” she said. “There’s just this cultural idea that [science] is not really their job. Maybe one thing I can bring is to show people there’s not really those rules.”
