“I’m wearing a Pokemon onesie because I was really scared to wear it last year, and I wanted to redeem myself.  I’m also looking forward to Band Day because I want to wear my patch pants.  It kind of just feels like the right thing to [do], and I’m in a leadership class, so I wanted to encourage everyone [to dress up]. I think that people should participate in spirit week because it’s fun and cool, and you’re boring if you don’t.”
