“I’m from the ’50s, semi-obviously. I have the dress but not much else. I think the ’50s are super fun because it was very Doo-wop and everyone was happy, and there were definitely some underlying issues, but you see Grease and stuff and they’re all just having a great time. You know, the passion is amazing; It’s so fun to look at. Spirit week is super fun because everyone can kind of look like an idiot, but everyone else looks like an idiot too, so no one cares. These people are able to show school spirit in ways other than just wearing red, and it’s super inclusive.”
